Our Mission
American Legion Post 35 exists to honor service, support veterans, and strengthen the Reedley community through connection, remembrance, and local service.
What We Do
- Memorial Day Flag Placement
Each Memorial Day, Post 35 places more than 900 American flags at the Reedley Cemetery to honor fallen service members. Families may sponsor a personalized flag and pole in remembrance of a loved one. - Wreaths for Reedley Veterans
Post 35 helps organize and support the annual Wreaths for Reedley Veterans effort, honoring more than 1,800 veterans laid to rest at the Reedley Cemetery. Community volunteers place wreaths each December to ensure every veteran is remembered. - Student Scholarships
Post 35 supports scholarships for qualifying students from Reedley High School and Emmanuel High School, in partnership with local educators and community supporters. - Community Events & Fundraisers
Through local events like Veterans Day breakfasts, community dinners, and Reedley Fiesta activities, Post 35 raises support for veteran programs while staying connected to the community. - Community Hall Rentals
The American Legion Hall is available for local gatherings, including access to the hall, kitchen, tables, and chairs, accommodating up to 49 people.
